How we count
Pages opened, not people
A visit is a page opened: someone who reads three pages is counted three times. Shares are completed actions: an image or link sent, an image downloaded or a link copied. The figures are estimates: at the busiest times, counting uses sampling, so the figures are rounded.
“Where visitors came from” shows only entries, the first page opened in a tab. Direct access means an entry without an identified source: a typed address, a bookmark or a link opened in an app that does not report where it came from.
We do not use cookies, identify readers or record anything when the browser asks not to be tracked. Days follow Brasília time.
